You don’t need to pack your sleep sound machine when you’re headed to this One&Only. Here, the cacophony you hear a la “Jungle Sounds” is the real, live show, thanks to your neighbors: cicadas and gibbon monkeys galore. We love that each room has its very own plunge pool, and all guests get access to the beach club and, nearby, 27-hole Els Club Desaru Coast Golf Course, designed by Ernie Els (famous for winning that iconic emerald green masters jacket four times. Four!).

Each and every room category gets pampering attention from a butler. Want fresh-squeezed fruit in your cocktail? Just ask.

You weren’t sure which among the property’s five restaurants to choose tonight, but something about the cheekily-named Dusky Monkey set your pulse racing. Was it the “walls” set open to the redolent jungle air? The bookshelf of illuminated whiskeys that stretched all the way to the ceiling? No matter. You’re not moving for the night, and you couldn’t be happier.
