St. George's, Grenada
Silversands Grenada
Modernism on the Water
What it is
A 43-room beachfront resort with the longest pool in the Caribbean, a rum & cigar lounge, and a jaw-dropping spa.
What it isn't
On island time. Service here is topnotch; your stay includes full breakfasts, private airport transfers (via Tesla, no less), comped wifi and parking….and they’ll even unpack for you.
What we think
It’s not easy to improve on paradise, but Silversands Grenada has done it. Tucked into verdant seaside hills carpeted with bougainvillea and nutmeg, the resort is as artful as a MoMA exhibition sprung to life. Take the neutral swathed guest rooms, where floor to ceiling windows turn the turquoise waters into a de facto painting, the palette is blonde woods and sand whites, and amenities are tech-forward—including mechanized mosquito netting you can control at the push of a button and sound systems that will pair to your own devices. Request a Deluxe Ocean View King room for 710 square feet of breathing room, plus a deep soaking tub with its own showstopping views of the water. Need even more space? They also have a collection of villas, complete with private pools, full kitchens, rain showers and indoor and outdoor dining spaces.
You're here because
The resort isn’t geared around children, and frankly, you need a break from anything resembling a kiddie pool.
The Moment
The spa here, complete with an ice cave, hammam, experiential shower, and more, is so stunning it could break the internet—or at least garner more Instagram likes than you thought possible. But you’re not here for that. You’re here to splay out on their quartz sand bed, awaiting your inner radiance facial (though you’re quite sure, after even 10 minutes of relaxing here, you look more radiant than ever).
