Once your annual hotel bookings hit $25,000 (base room rate, excluding taxes and fees) as a Friend, we'll send you a personal invite. To activate the elite status, there is a $1,000 annual fee.
We wish we could control the universe, but we can't! • For SKYLARK Friends: Upgrades are provided on a priority basis if the hotel has the space when you walk through the door. Certain room categories are excluded from upgrades. • For SKYLARK Best Friends: Once your annual bookings reach $50,000, you can claim a confirmed suite upgrade: one entry-category suite per membership year, at participating properties, subject to availability, three-night minimum, excluding peak dates. If no suite is available, the upgrade can't be fulfilled, and no make-good credit, cash refund, or substitution will be issued. It does not roll over and is forfeited if unused during the membership year.
Per-Stay Property Credits ($100+) are standard with most FWA bookings. They are "use it or lose it" during your stay for things like the spa or dinner.
We keep it simple: Net base room rate for stays you've actually completed. • Doesn't count: Taxes, resort fees, minibar charges, airfare, or canceled trips. • When it counts: Spend is credited to your account after you've physically checked out and the hotel confirms the stay.
It's an anniversary thing! Your membership automatically renews every year on your sign-up date. We'll charge your card on file unless you tell us otherwise.
To avoid being charged for the next year, hit the cancel button at least 24 hours prior to your renewal date.
Membership and activation fees are non-refundable once processed. You'll keep your "Friend" status and all perks until your current billing period ends. A Note on Disputes: We're all friends here! If you dispute a legitimate fee with your bank instead of talking to us, it may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all your accumulated credits. Let's chat first!
Yes! To comply with California Consumer law, your fees are considered a non-refundable prepayment for Professional Travel Consulting Hours. • Friend ($250): Covers two (2) hours of expert advisor planning. • Best Friend ($1,000): Covers eight (8) hours of expert advisor planning. • You can cancel and get a refund within three business days of signing up by emailing support@skylark.com.
While we only partner with the best properties, SKYLARK acts as an intermediary. We aren't responsible for the hotel's plumbing, the service at the pool, or the weather. We're your advocates, not the property managers. Also, because our rates are exclusive and bundled with perks, we do not price match against discount sites or "opaque" booking platforms.
