Bulgari Resort Bali
The Bvlgari stamp of effortless elegance takes on fresh Balinese inspiration at the renowned hoteliers’ new Indonesian resort. Overlooking the gorgeous Indian Ocean, the Bvlgari offers every guest a private villa complete with a prime-placed infinity pool, 24/7 butler service and volcanic stone bathrooms the size of some temples. The resort combines minimalist contemporary Italian Antonio Citterio designs with more traditional Balinese architecture. While seemingly unorthodox, the result is an abundance of open space and natural light that makes the most of the Bvlgari’s mesmerizing location. Outside your private palace, you will find a hotel-owned funicular that runs down to a secluded Indian Ocean beach, two restaurants—one Balinese, one Italian— as well as a signature Bvlgari spa with treatments overlooking the Bukit cliffside. The spa itself occupies an antique ‘Joglo’ house transported piece by piece from central Java, and is one of many Southeast Asian antiques that call the Bvlgari their home.
A villas-only, cliff-hugging, ridiculously romantic resort
Family-oriented. Kids are, of course, welcome, yet the Bvlgari’s atmosphere screams love-soaked honeymoon. They even have a chapel complete with $200,000 tiara for bridal rental.
A view is only as precious as who you share it with. And the Bvlgari offers an immaculate enclave for you and your loved one(s).
You wake up to the sound of lapping waves on the seashore. Entranced, you make yourself an espresso and wander outside to take a spontaneous dip in your private infinity pool. Italian coffee paired with Indian Ocean cliffs: there are worse ways to start the day.
