New Global Icon
What it is
The Chancery Rosewood is an all-suite luxury hotel set to open in September 2025, in London's prestigious Mayfair district. Housed in the former U.S. Embassy at 30 Grosvenor Square, this architectural gem has been transformed by Sir David Chipperfield and Joseph Dirand into a haven of refined elegance and modern comfort.
What it isn't
It’s not a traditional hotel. While it offers world-class amenities, The Chancery Rosewood is designed to feel more like a private residence, emphasizing personalized service and a homely atmosphere.
What we think
The Chancery Rosewood reimagines luxury hospitality by blending architectural heritage with modern design. The building's Grade II-listed façade has been meticulously restored, preserving its historical significance while incorporating contemporary elements. The interiors, designed by Joseph Dirand, reflect a sophisticated aesthetic with a warm, residential ambiance. Guests can enjoy eight dining venues, including the European debut of New York's Carbone, and the Eagle Bar, offering panoramic views of London. The Asaya® Spa provides a comprehensive wellness experience, and the subterranean ballroom can accommodate up to 750 guests, making it ideal for events and gatherings.
