If you’d rather opt for R&R, the resort’s Atarmia Spa is ready to soothe with expert masseurs and poolside daybeds in the shade of towering palm trees.

You’re a bit of an oenophile, so asked to be sat next to the wall of bottles in The Park Bar & Grill, the resort’s unofficial ode to wine. Tonight, you’re sipping a 2010 cabernet merlot from South Africa’s Rupert & Rothschild, and excitedly awaiting your dessert: warm chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream. Simple, and perfect.
