Oceans Edge Key West Resort & Marina

What We Think

Oceans Edge works best for travelers who want the Keys with a little more room to breathe. Set on Stock Island, the resort pairs easy access to downtown Key West with a more private waterfront setting, and that split is really the whole appeal. The property leans into its marina identity, with a 165-slip full-service marina, fishing charters and cruises departing on site, and a general sense that being near the water is meant to be part of the stay, not just the view. The amenities are substantial without feeling overly polished, including six heated saltwater pools, a restaurant and café, complimentary kayak, paddleboard, and bike use, plus an hourly shuttle into downtown from morning through late evening. Rooms are spread across marina and ocean buildings, with many looking onto landscaping, the marina, or the water beyond, and the overall mood feels casual, spacious, and more relaxed than a lot of Key West proper. Yellowfin Bar & Kitchen gives the resort a solid dining anchor with marina views and a Florida Keys menu touched by Asian influences, while the café handles Cuban coffee and grab-and-go basics during the day.

What It Is

A waterfront resort on Stock Island with marina views, contemporary rooms, and a breezy Key West feel that leans more laid-back escape than classic Old Town charm.

What It Isn't

A quiet boutique hideaway or a walk-everywhere Duval Street stay. Oceans Edge is a larger, activity-driven resort built around pools, boating, and a more relaxed remove from the center of Key West.

You're Here Because

You want a Key West-area resort with pools, boating access, a marina atmosphere, and a little more space and ease than staying right in the middle of Old Town.

The Moment

Catching the light over the marina after a day on the water, then lingering over dinner or a drink as the resort starts to feel more like a quiet harbor escape than a standard Key West hotel.
