Newly revamped to the tune of $50 million, Loews has reached new (ahem) highs. Kids are as pampered as card-carrying guests, if not more so; note the SOBE kids club where they can join in pizza making classes or scavenger hunts. They can even opt to have manis, pedis, and haircuts in the spa, for a song.

When in Miami, you have to eat fresh-caught seafood whenever possible. So having Lure Dining Room right downstairs is like manna from the gods. You order the grilled lobster with drawn butter and crispy fingerling potatoes, plus lobster mac and four cheese. If this isn’t living, you don’t know what is.
