What we think

Tahoe is way, way more than skiing—as Edgewood will attest. Golfers like Tiger Woods and Arnold Palmer flock here with their clubs from all corners of the globe to play the 1968 golf course, which straddles whitecapped mountains and the lake and was built by George Fazio (then later revamped by his nephew Tom Fazio). Played out? Plenty more adventures await here, including daily yoga by the lake and nightly s’mores at the fire pit. Guest rooms are comforting places to recharge for the next day’s exploits; each one is absolutely enormous at 500 square feet, with a gas fireplace, Frette robes and soaking tub for steeping with a glass of vino in-hand.
