A 1930 hotel reborn for the modern glitterati, with a sceney rooftop cocktail bar, locally beloved brunch joint, and coffee shop so hip Johnny Cash would’ve been a regular.
Soulless. Among the charming activities right on the premises: boutique shopping at Keep Shop, open 24 hours a day for everything from cactus face polish to Stetson hats made in Garland, Texas.
The rooftop bar, Rare Bird, is one of the best you’ve seen: with a flickering fireplace and caviar-dusted fried chicken (an ideal pairing for their Sparrow’s Rose cocktail, with bourbon, rosemary, orange and cranberry).
